On World Children’s Day on 20 November 2020, the Trust Fund organised virtual readings of the Book of Dreams to raise awareness on how the Syrian conflict is affecting children and youth in Syria’s neighbouring countries. The Book gives a voice to Syrian children living as refugees in Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey. Regardless of what they have faced, their dreams highlight their incredible resilience and their continuous hope for a better future. Providing protection and education to children and youth is a key priority for the European Union (EU) and its partner UNICEF in our joint work to prevent a ‘lost generation’.
