EU decides on more recovery aid to Lebanon while putting reconstruction aid on hold

The European Commission announced an additional aid program of about €100 million to Lebanon to address the consequences of the explosion in August in the port of Beirut. The EU will focus the recovery efforts on meeting the needs of the population.
